WBSET Cut off 2018 Released; Check Category-wise, Subject-wise Cutoff Here

NEW DELHI, MARCH 9: West Bengal College Service Commission has released the cut off of WBSET 2018. The authority has released the cut off for the test which was conducted on December 2, 2018. Candidates can download the cut off in PDF format by visiting the official website - https://www.wbcsconline.in/ and clicking on the cut off link of WBSET.
WBSET cut off 2018 PDF contains the category wise cut off marks for each subject for which the test was conducted. As per the cut off released, the highest cut off marks has been registered for Psychology - 70.67 while the lowest cut off marks has been recorded for Nepali - 49.33. Candidates can check the cut off marks off the other subjects in the table below:

All those candidates who have scored the minimum cut off marks for their respective subjects as per their categories have been considered SET qualified and are eligible for recruitment as Assistant Professors in colleges of West Bengal only.
The exam was conducted for two papers - paper I and II containing 100 and 200 marks respectively. Candidates were given 1 hour to complete paper I while 2 hours were given for paper II. Candidates had to answer 50 compulsory objective type questions in paper I whereas, in paper II, 100 questions had to be answered. No marks were deducted for any wrong response given by the candidate.
WBSET exam is conducted in offline mode for 30 subjects in order to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Assistant Professors across the in Universities and Colleges of West Bengal only.
