West Bengal Civil Services 2019 mains exam dates announced; Check here schedule

NEW DELHI, JUNE 27: Public Service Commission, West Bengal has announced the mains exam dates of West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) 2019. This notification states the exam dates, sessions and time of both compulsory and optional examinations. WBCS mains exam will be held from July 25 to July 28, 2019. Candidates who have qualified WBCS 2019 prelims exam are only eligible to appear WBCS mains exam.

As per the official notice, the mains exam of WBCS will be held in offline mode only. To appear for mains exam, authority will issue the WBCS mains admit card. The admit card is expected to be released in the first week of July 2019. To download the admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of the commission.

Given below is the complete schedule for 4 days of WBCS mains exams.

Paper – II : (Subjective Type) English - Letter writing/ Drafting of Report, Précis Writing, Composition and Translation from Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali/ Santali to English

Paper – III : (Objective Type) General Studies-I : (i) Indian History with special emphasis on National Movement and (ii) Geography of India with special reference to West Bengal

Paper – IV : (Objective Type) General Studies-II : Science and Scientific & Technological advancement, Environment, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

July 27, 2019

Paper – V : (Objective Type) The Constitution of India and Indian Economy including role and functions of Reserve Bank of India.

Paper – VI : (Objective Type) Arithmetic & Test of Reasoning
