Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) has declared the result of the West Bengal State Eligibility Test 2023 (WB SET 2023) today, February 29. Eligible candidates can download the WB SET 2023 results by visiting the official website, wbcsc.org.in
The WB SET 2023 exam was conducted on January 8, 2023, in 33 subjects. All the candidates who qualified for the WB SET 2023 exam will receive a certificate of eligibility by the commission. This certificate serves as the primary requirement for the recruitment of assistant professors in universities across West Bengal.
The WB SET 2023 exam carries two papers. Paper 1 is general in nature whereas paper 2 is based on one of the 33 subjects selected by the appearing candidates.
To be shortlisted for the WB SET 2023 exam, general category candidates will have to secure an aggregate of 40% marks, while reserved category candidates had to obtain at least 35% marks in both papers 1, 2.
The commission has declared the cut-off marks for the general, economically weaker section (EWS), other backward class (OBC-A), OBC-B, scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), person with disability (PwD), transgender candidates. The cut-off marks for all 33 subjects are uploaded on the official website.
As per the WBCSC official notice, candidates will have to use their registration number and password to download the WB SET 2023 scorecard. The WB SET 2023 scorecard carries the information including the name of the shortlisted candidate, registration number, roll number, cut-off marks, section-wise marks scored by the candidate, total scored marks, qualifying status of the candidate.
