NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty (GD) Constable 2025 examination is underway, with the exam for February 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2025 has already been conducted. The remaining exams are scheduled to take place on February 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 25, 2025. As the exam progresses, candidates are keen to know whether the SSC GD cut-off 2025 will be higher than last year.

The commission conducts the SSC GD constable exam to recruit various positions, including General Duty Constable, Central Armed Police Forces, Special Security Force, Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau.

This year, the recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 39,481 vacancies. Out of 39,481 vacancies, 35,612 are reserved for male candidates and the remaining 3,869 positions are reserved for female candidates.

The SSC GD 2025 exam city slip is released ten days before the exam, and the admit card is available at least four days before the exam. Candidates registered for the exam can download the SSC GD admit card 2025 through the official website, ssc.gov.in.

SSC GD 2025 cut-off determining factors

The SSC GD cut-off depends on several factors, including the total number of vacancies and the number of applicants who appeared in the exam.

The difficulty level of the paper also plays a crucial role, as an easier exam may result in a higher cut-off, while a tougher one could lead to a lower cut-off.

The SSC GD final cut-off is also affected by the candidate selection ratio for the respective stages exam. SSC also applies the normalization rule to maintain uniformity across different shifts, ensuring a fair evaluation for all candidates.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the computer-based test (CBE), physical efficiency test (PET), physical standard test (PST), medical examination (ME) and document verification (DV).
