World University of Design announces "In-Cubing Challenge"

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 08: World University of Design, has announced In-Cubing Challenge” to give wings to the entrepreneurial spirit of the students and encourage them to present innovative startup ideas with experts from various industries and subsequently, win an opportunity for incubation.

Students from across Delhi-NCR and other states have been called to share their Start-up ideas and be a part of “In-Cubing Challenge”.

They can share their ideas on worlduniversityofdesign.ac.in/cult3.

The best 10 ideas will be selected by the bench of eminent judges and the results will be announced on February 12, 2019. Further, the top 10 entries will be provided a chance to briefly showcase their ideas to a jury panel during the annual cultural festival “CULT”, scheduled to be held on February 15, 2019 at World University of Design campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Vice-Chancellor, WUD said, “World University of Design is proud to announce the ‘In-Cubing Challenge’, inviting innovative startup ideas from future entrepreneurs. The In-Cubing Challenge will be a part of our 3rd edition of the two days Inter-College Annual Cultural Festival - “Cult 2019” to be held at our Campus. The festival would attract almost 2000+ students from colleges in and around Delhi-NCR & other states to compete on a grand scale and showcase their talents. As a leader in design education, World University of Design is committed to creating innovative opportunities for our students and helping them enable access to the funding, mentoring, and support needed to develop leaders and to drive innovative ventures forward. This challenge will present an opportunity for the youth to exhibit their talent by unleashing their entrepreneurial potential.”

The start-up ideas can be related to any of the following categories; Product, Services, Mobile Applications, Mobility & Transportation and Fashion & Accessories. The ideas will be judged by the eminent panel of jury which would include Vijay Pratap Singh Aditya, Co-founder, Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of “ekgaon” & Mohammad Sharique Farooqi, MD, Centre for Incubation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ambedkar University Delhi, the selected ideas will be displayed as part of an exhibition during CULT 2019. Winners of the “In-Cubingchallenge will receive exciting rewards and a chance to get incubated by various industry experts present during the event.
