XAT 2019 conducted on January 6 across 46 cities; Around 75,000 candidates are expected to appear for the exam

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 6: XLRI conducted XAT 2019 on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 10 AM- 1 PM in computer-based mode. XAT is administered at all India level to select the most appropriate students for management programmes. The XAT 2019 score will be used by more than 150 institutes pan India. Around 75,000 candidates are expected to appear for the examination. XLRI Jamshedpur released the XAT admit card 2019 on December 22, 2018.

XAT 2019 is a computer-based test (online) of 180 minutes duration. The exam comprises of four sections, namely Verbal and Logical Ability (VA & LR), Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI), and General Knowledge (GK). The Essay Writing section has been removed from the exam pattern of XAT 2019.

Scoring Pattern - Each question will carry 1 mark and for each wrong answer, 1/4th of the total marks allotted to a question will be deducted. There is negative marking of 0.05 marks also involved for unattempted questions as well, beyond 8.

XAT Exam Centres 2019

XAT 2019 was conducted in 46 cities across India and not in any international cities. The previous year, the exam was conducted in 47 cities pan India and two international cities. Additionally, this year candidates could write to XLRI to change the preference of test centre within the stipulated period of time. However, the institute will have a final decision on it.

XAT Result 2019

XAT 2019 result will be declared online on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Candidates would be able to check the result from the official website using their XAT ID and Password. The scorecards would be available for download from January 31 to March 31, 2019. XAT 2019 result will be announced in the form of the scorecard which will include the sectional, as well as the overall scores.
