2500+ GLAians Create History by Getting Lucrative Placement Offers

NEW DELHI, JUNE 17: Over 2500 of GLA University, Mathura of the present batch got placed in reputed organizations what with not only one job per student but multiple jobs per student to many of them. 350+ renowned companies have visited the university campus till date to recruit from the 2018-19 batch.

Treasurer and Secretary Society Neeraj Agrawal talked about how the university management leaves no stone unturned as far as ensuring credible and an effort towards striving for cent-percent employment opportunities for the students is concerned. The university is making all-out effort to bring the big names of corporate world like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Flipkart to the campus for placement with much success till date.

A full-time dedicated team of 30 training and placement officials works day-in-and-day-out contacting organizations in various locations like NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Africa, UK, Japan for campus placement with favourable response in most of the instances. Additionally, he said that fruitful conversations have taken place with the representatives of reputed organizations like Sony India, Cushman and Wakefield, Punj Lloyd, Sony Ericsson, Sapient, ACC Cement, BKT Tyre, Jindal Steel, JP Morgan, Dalmia Group, KPMG, Shalimar Paint, Kajaria, JK Cement and it is believed that they may visit the university in the coming academic session for campus placement. Further Mr Agrawal talked about how MNCs having a pay package ranging between 4 to 12 lacs have made a point to visit the university for fulfilling their recruitment goals.

The placement drive for the present session was kicked off by Microsoft which offered a package hovering around 10 lpa. Hordes of renowned names such as Microsoft, Byju’s, Godrej, Voltas, Deloitte Consulting, Berger, JK Tyre, Concentrix, Wipro, Jaro Education, Capgemini, HDFC, TCS, Tommy Hilfiger, MRF, ICICI, Hitachi, Bluestar and many more have recruited students from the present batch. The Chancellor Shri Narayan Das Agrawal expressed his happiness over the accomplishment and said that GLA University has emerged as the preferred destination for the recruiters in the state which is very well reflected in the burgeoning number of placement offers. He shared that till now 9 students in Microsoft, 235 in Wipro Technologies, 98 in TCS, 161 in Capgemini, 102 in Concentrix have been successfully placed apart from other reputed organizations. Students from the previous batches are rendering their services in USA, UK, Japan and other global destinations other than the domestic hot-spots like Bengaluru, NCR and Pune. Further, he expressed his happiness on the fact that students from all the streams and programmes be it B Tech, BBA, BBA Honours, BBA Family Business, B Com Hons., B Pharm, BCA, B Sc Biotech, D Pharm, Diploma, MBA, MCA, M Pharm, M Tech have found recruiters interested in them. The companies which visited the university were all praise for the teaching pedagogy and students’ general acumen and aptitude.
