The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 will be held on May 3, with over 24 lakh competing for seats in MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses across India. Once the results are declared, counselling authorities release cutoff ranks across multiple rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, and the stray vacancy round. The NEET UG cutoff is the minimum score required to qualify for medical admissions. Candidates scoring equal to or above the cutoff are eligible for All India and state counselling. For the 85% state quota, each state releases its own cutoff, which is the closing rank at which admission is granted to MBBS and BDS colleges. These cutoffs vary by state and category.
