AFCAT 1 result 2026 announced at afcat.cdac.in; 385 qualify, selection process

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 result today, March 11, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the written test on January 31 can check the results on the AFCAT official website, afcat.cdac.in. A total of 385 candidates have qualified for the next stage of the selection process.

To check the CDAC AFCAT 1 result, candidates are required to enter their valid AFCAT login credentials, such as registered email ID, password and captcha code.

According to the AFCAT 1 result 2026, a total of 62 candidates have been selected for the Flying branch, 120 for the Technical branch, 25 for the Non-technical branch, 65 for Administration, 18 for Logistics, 16 for Accounts, 8 for Education, and 15 for Meteorology. The selection of the following 56 candidates is subject to medical fitness.

Those who will qualify the AFCAT 1 written test will be called for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSC) interview.

AFCAT 1 Result 2026: Selection process

The IAF academy selection process has three stages. Phase 1 is a screening test that checks intelligence and aptitude to shortlist candidates.

Phase 2 includes group and psychological tests, where candidates participate in group activities, psychological assessments, and a personal interview.

The final round is a medical test to check candidates’ fitness. The IAF will release the final merit list based on marks from the written exam, interview, and medical test.

• Enter your AFCAT login details, registered email ID and password.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• The AFCAT 1 result PDF and the scorecard will appear on the screen.
• Download and take a printout of the same for your future reference.
