Free DownloadNEW DELHI, DECEMBER 1: Indian Air Force has released notification for AFCAT 1 2019 on December 1, 2018. As many as 163 vacancies will be filled through this examination. The application form of AFCAT has been released on December 1. The last date to fill AFCAT application form is December 30, 2018. The examination will be held online across 104 exam cities on February 16 and 17, 2019. Candidates will be able to download their admit card after February 1, 2019.
The online AFCAT application form 2019 form is available at https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in . Aadhaar Card is mandatory for online registration. To fill the application form, candidates have to first register for the exam. After registration, candidates can fill the detailed application form where they will have to enter their personal details, qualification details, course preference, upload scanned images of photograph and signature, exam city etc. To submit the application, candidates have to pay Rs 250 as examination fees through online payment gateway, credit/ debit cards/ net banking.
According to AFCAT eligibility criteria, only Indian citizen can apply for the exam. The age limit prescribed for Flying Branch is 20 to 24 years while that for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch is 20 to 26 years as on January 1, 2020. The minimum educational qualification required for AFCAT is graduation. The academic qualification varies as per the branches.
The online test of AFCAT consist of four sections - General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. Duration of the test is 2 hours. Maximum marks allotted for the test are 300. Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) which is held for Technical Branch comprises of Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics. Total marks allotted for EKT are 150.
Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted to select candidates as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches of Indian Air Force.
