Assam HS first year admission 2023 through DARPAN portal: Ranoj Pegu

Students who wish to take HS admission will have to submit their application form through the DARPAN portal.
NEW DELHI :The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has started the online application process for HS first-year admission in 2023. Students who wish to apply for HS first year admission will have to register through "DARPAN" portal launched by the AHSEC. The student portal for HS first-year admission 2023 is currently operational.
The Assam HS admission process started from May 29, 2023. Students who completed the Assam Board HSLC exam this year may enroll online for HS first year courses for the academic year 2023–2024. Assam higher education minister Ranoj Pegu instructed students to apply through DARPAN portal.
“Students seeking admission into the 1st year of Higher Secondary (HS) courses must apply to respective colleges & institutions through the DARPAN portal;” read the tweet.

The offline admission process, which will start in the first week of August 2023, will only be open to students who have successfully completed the process through the DARPAN portal.
The minister has also directed institutions to follow the HS admission guidelines issued and confirm the applications only after the students have accepted the admission offer.

After the applications are confirmed, the institutions will be responsible for publishing the selection list and waiting list for admission into the first year of higher secondary. Students from other universities are not allowed to enroll at the schools that are listed on the DARPAN portal.
