Download NowNEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India has activated the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 18 OMR sheet rechecking window 2024. The Council declared the AIBE 18 result 2024 on March 26. Candidates who are not satisfied with their AIBE 18 result 2024 can apply for result rechecking by visiting the official website, allindiabarexamination.com.

AIBE 18 OMR rechecking process 2024 is completely online. AIBE 18 rechecking request submitted through offline mode will not be considered. Candidates are required to pay a rechecking fee of Rs 200. Candidates must note that this is the last chance to get their OMR sheets rechecked.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) has stated that the AIBE 2024 results are determined based on 93 questions instead of the usual 100, as seven questions were removed from the AIBE 18 exam. For candidates in the general and OBC categories, the passing marks is 45% of 93 marks, rounding up to 42 marks. Whereas, for candidates in the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and disabled categories, the passing score is set at 40% of 93 marks, rounded off to 37 marks.

The AIBE 2024 examination results were temporarily withheld for individuals who mistakenly uploaded documents other than their enrollment certificates. The council has asked these candidates to submit their enrollment certificates by April 10 and informed that their results will be declared by April 15. "Those candidates need to send their enrolment certificates to the email address bci.helpdesk@smartexams.in before April 10, 2024. The results of such candidates will be declared by April 15, 2024," it said.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for AIBE 18 OMR sheet rechecking:
- Go to the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.
- On the homepage, click on the link available for rechecking of the OMR sheet.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Fill up the AIBE 18 re-checking application form.
- Enter the required information and submit.
- Pay the application fee
- Download and take a printout for further use.
