Download NowNEW DELHI: Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced the All India Bar Examination XIX (AIBE 19) exam date 2024. As per the schedule, AIBE 19 exam 2024 will be conducted on November 24. The AIBE registration 2024 link has been made available on the official website, allindiabarexamination.com. The last date to register for the AIBE exam is October 25.

As per the schedule, AIBE 19 admit card 2024 will be issued on November 19. Graduates who want to practice law in Indian courts will have to qualify the examination. Candidates from the academic year 2009-2010 onwards will have to mandatorily appear in the examination only after enrolling as advocates under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961, the BCI said.
General and OBC category candidates will have to pay AIBE registration fees of Rs 3,560 and SC, ST candidates will have to pay Rs 2,560 to complete the application process.
“The exam is conducted to assess basic level knowledge of a member and lay down minimum benchmark for entering into practice of law in addition to assessing candidate's analytical skills. After clearing All India Bar Examination, the candidate is awarded certificate of practice by Bar Council of India,” the BCI official website read.
The exam will be conducted for 3 and half hours and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The council informed that candidates with 80% disability will be given 20 minutes extra time to attempt questions.
