NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the provisional answer key of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) along with AIBE XV question papers for the codes (A, B, C and D) at the official website: allindiabarexamination.com; it can be downloaded by following the link given below. The open-book AIBE XV 2020 exam was conducted on January 24.

Candidates who have any objection against the provisional answer key can file challenges till February 7. The final AIBE 2020 answer key will be released after considering all such challenges. Results of the AIBE 2020 exam would be declared in the first week of March.

How to download AIBE XV answer key 2020

• Click on the link given above

• The code-wise AIBE answer will be displayed on screen

• Click on the relevant AIBE XV (15) answer key tab

• Download and take a printout of the answer key

The answer key will contain answers to questions asked in the exam, which can be used to consult and confirm their own answers. One specific reason for releasing answer keys is to build and retain the sanctity of the exam, and also to build confidence among candidates.

How to calculate expected scores using AIBE answer key 2020

The AIBE 2020 answer key contains the correct answers to all the questions, so the candidate will be able to compare their answers with the official version to calculate probable scores.

1. The candidate first has to tally the number of correct attempts.

2. There is no negative marking in AIBE 2020, so you don’t need to calculate incorrect attempts.

3. For each correct response, assign 1 mark

4. Tally the marks and you will get the TOTAL expected marks in AIBE XV 2020.

What will BCI do if a key or multiple keys are found to be incorrect in AIBE XV 2020 answer key?

The BCI will consider every challenge filed by the candidate and if any key (or keys) are found to be incorrect, then correct keys will be used to replace the incorrect ones.

Consequently, the candidate can’t evaluate the performance solely based on the provisional key, but should wait for the final AIBE answer key.

The BCI will publish the final answer key of AIBE 2020 just before the declaration of AIBE results 2020.

Features of AIBE final answer key 2020

1. There will be no provision to challenge the final answer key of AIBE 2020.

2. As such keys mentioned in the final AIBE 2020 answer keys will be officially the correct answers to questions asked in the exam.

3. Exam officials will use the final answer key to evaluate answer sheets and marking purposes.

When will AIBE XV result 2020 be declared?

The results will be declared in the first week of March. The AIBE 2020 results would be declared simply as pass or fail; no marks will be released. Such candidates who qualify (or pass) in the exam will be issued Certificate of Practice (CoP), which is a permit to practice in courts of law in India.
