AICTE issues academic calendar for 2024-25; complete schedule

AICTE Calendar 2024-25: The last date for enrolling first-year students in engineering colleges is September 15.
NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has issued the academic calendar for 2024-25. The AICTE academic calendar 2024-25 outlines dates such as enrollment deadlines, class starting dates, affiliation grants, and other important events. As per the calendar, the deadline for enrollment in engineering colleges is September 15, with classes set to begin on the same day.
According to the AICTE calendar, technical institutions are required to conclude their affiliation procedures by July 31. Moreover, the last date for the grant of affiliation by the university is July 31. However, the dates mentioned on the calendar are not final, with recent media reports indicating that AICTE reserves the right to extend deadlines if deemed necessary, reflecting its tentative nature.
Furthermore, the AICTE academic calendar 2024 states September 11 as the deadline for canceling seats in technical courses, enabling students to receive a full fee refund. Additionally, students seeking entry into the second year of courses through lateral admission have until September 15, to complete the admission process.
