NEW DELHI, June 21 : All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has started the mock round of AIIMS MBBS counselling in online mode. Candidates who have qualified the entrance examination are required to use their login credentials to participate. After successful registration, candidates will have to enter their preferences and lock their choices. The mock round of counselling is conducted to provide an idea of how choices are filled/ locked/deleted and about the seat allotment process as a whole before actual commencement of counselling.

How to participate in the mock round of counselling

Click on the official link - aiimsexams.org

Login and register for the AIIMS MBBS counselling - Use login credentials like Registration ID, RUC (Registration Unique Code), password and security code displayed on screen to login

Enter choices - Upon successful login, the candidate will be redirected to the choice filling form. Fill in as many choices as possible in the order of priority. Lock the choices before the last date, or else last filled choices will automatically get locked.

Mock allotment - Based on choices entered by the candidate and their merit rank, the allotment of seats will be made.
What after mock allotment?
The mock seat allotment, as the term indicates, is only a dry run. Also, based on mock allotment results, the candidates can fine tune their choice filling for better chances of admission or maximising their chances of admission.
The choices entered after mock allotment round will be used for allotting seats in round I of AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling. Exam conducting authorities haven’t yet released the full counselling schedule, but is likely that choice filling for Round I will commence in 4th week of June.
Seat allotment and reporting at allotted institute
Once a seat has been allotted and the candidate has accepted the seat, he or she has to report at the particular institute for document verification and completion of other admission formalities. Also, at the time of reporting the candidate needs to bring along originals and photocopies of all relevant documents and Demand Draft of fee payment.
