AIIMS CRE-5 re-exam announced for seven group codes; earlier test invalid

AIIMS will conduct a fresh CRE-5 exam for seven specified group codes applicants; schedule and admit card to be out later on the official website
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced a re-examination for applicants who appeared in the common recruitment examination (CRE)-5 2026 under seven specified group codes.
The decision follows the conduct of the CRE-5 examination from July 25 to 27, 2026. As per the notice, the re-examination has been approved on the recommendations of an expert committee and with the approval of the competent authority.
Only applicants who appeared under the seven specified group codes will be needed to take the re-examination. The earlier examination conducted for these group codes will not be considered while preparing the final results.

As per the official notice, the re-exam will apply only to the following seven group codes and post:

The official notice reads, “All candidates to whom admit cards were issued earlier for CRE-5 in the above-mentioned Group Codes shall be considered for issuance of admit card for the re-examination, subject to verification from official examination records and applicable conditions.”

The notice also stated that the re-exam may be held at short notice, with applicants being given at least 10 days' advance notice. The examination schedule, admit card and detailed instructions will be released separately on the AIIMS website and applicant's dashboards. The notice only applies to the seven specified group codes and does not affect other CRE-5 group codes, whose results will be out separately. All terms and conditions mentioned in the detailed recruitment advertisement, along with subsequent notices and corrigenda, will remain applicable.
