AIIMS MBBS 2019: Basic Registration ends today; Check the dates and details for submission

Download EBookNEW DELHI, JANUARY 3: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will close the online basic registration process of AIIMS MBBS 2019 application on January 3 at 05:00 PM. Only those candidates who complete the basic registration, will be able to fill the AIIMS MBBS 2019 application form and complete final registration. Candidates who have completed the basic registration will be able to check their status of AIIMS MBBS basic registration from January 7, 2019, onwards. AIIMS New Delhi will also open the correction window to allow candidates to modify the incorrect details (if any). It will be made available from January 8, 2019.

Earlier, on November 30, 2018, the regulatory body started the AIIMS application form 2019. Only the eligible aspirants will be allowed to take the AIIMS MBBS exam to be conducted on May 25 and 26, in computer based mode. With the closing of application process, aspirants must remember the dates and points as mentioned below, while registering for medical entrance exam.
Dates of AIIMS MBBS application form
It is mandatory for aspirants to keep a track on the crucial events in order to avoid missing it. Below are some of the important dates related to AIIMS application form 2019 for students.

Submitting the correct details
As the name suggests, during the basic registration process, aspirants have to fill the basic details. While registering for the entrance exam, candidates must carefully submit the details, which includes:

Note: Students must enter the valid ID proof details, as it will be mentioned in the admit card and the same ID proof should be carried to the allotted exam centre for verification purpose.
Upload the images as per the specifications
In the basic registration process, aspirants also have to upload their scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression. The scanned images to be uploaded should be as per the specifications mentioned by the authority, else the applicant could not proceed to the further steps. Passport size photograph should be of 3.5*4.5 cm dimension and must be between 50-100 kb in JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG format.

Signature must be uploaded between 20-100 kb with the dimension of 6*3 cm in JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG format.

The dimension of Left hand impression must be 4*3 cm and size should be between 20-100 kb in JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG format.
Corrections in AIIMS Application Form?
The registered candidates whose application form will not be accepted are allowed to modify/delete the submitted details from January 8 to 18, 2019. After logging in, students will be indicated about the deficiencies in the application form. It is advised to modify the incorrect information carefully, as the corrections will be considered final and based on these correct details, the final status of AIIMS MBBS basic registration will be released.
Generation of code for final registration
Only students whose basic registration are approved will be generated a unique code for final registration from January 29 to February 17. Using this code, aspirants will be eligible to participate for AIIMS MBBS final registration process from February 21, 2019, to complete the remaining steps of AIIMS MBBS application form such as academic details, payment of fees, selection of exam city and printout of confirmation page.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam
As mentioned earlier, the authority will conduct AIIMS MBBS entrance exam on May 25 and 26 containing 200 objective type questions based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and Aptitude & Logical Thinking. Based on the result of AIIMS, the shortlisted candidates will be granted admission to around 1200 seats offered in 15 AIIMS Institutes.
