NEW DELHI, June 26: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has declared the result of mock round of AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019 on June 25 and will begin the round one of counselling today. Candidates whose names were included in the MBBS merit list, released on June 12, are eligible to fill their choices of colleges and courses for the round one of counselling even if they have not participated in the mock counselling. The facility to exercise choices will be opened from June 26, 5:00 PM to June 27 up to 5:00 PM.

The process of mock counselling is conducted to provide candidates with an estimate of the seat they are likely to get on the basis of their merit rank. Keeping in mind the mock result, candidates can submit preferences in the round one. The mock counselling result has been declared in the form of the seat allotment list, which includes the name of the candidates, roll number, qualifying status, allotted AIIMS Institute.

Round one Counselling

The choice filling process for the first round of has begun. Candidates can check the procedure to fill the choices below.

Step 1: To participate in the first round of counselling, aspirants need to log in using the registration ID, RUC code, password and captcha code. The counselling tab will be activated for those candidates who are eligible to participate.

Step 2: Thereafter, by entering the name and candidate ID, candidates can fill their preferences. One can select as many choices as they wish and can also delete it. Click on save button to preserve the choices.

Step 3: Once the final submission is done, click on ‘submit and lock choices’. In order to lock the preferences, click on ‘I Agree the Declaration’ box. No changes can be made after the choices are locked. In case, a candidate forgets to lock the filled in choices, then the choices will get automatically locked.

Step 4: The preferences of colleges filled by aspirants can be viewed. It is suggested to take a printout of choices locked during round one for future references.

First Seat Allotment list

AIIMS, New Delhi will declare the result of the first round of counselling on June 29, 2019, in online mode. It will consist candidate’s name, roll number, AIIMS MBBS rank and institute allotted for admission.

The seat allotment process will be done on the basis of choices filled, the merit position and seat availability, for admission to 1205 seats offered in 15 AIIMS located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Mangalagiri (Guntur), Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bathinda, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Kalyani, Rae Bareli and Telangana.

Once the seat allotment is over, the selected candidates need to report to the allotted AIIMS along with the original and photocopy of the relevant documents for verification and a demand draft. The DD should be drawn in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi.
