NEW DELHI, May 25: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will conduct the undergraduate medical entrance exam on May 25, 2019. AIIMS MBBS is considered to be the toughest entrance examination in the country. The entrance exam will be conducted in two shifts over a period of two days on May 25 and 26. It is being conducted in 151 exam cities across India for 1207 MBBS and BDS seats offered in 15 AIIMS in India. The morning session will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the evening session will be 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Candidates have been allotted session in a random manner.

The exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes which is held in a computer-based test format. Each candidate will have to answer 200 multiple choice questions and reason & assertion based question which will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Question from general knowledge and current affairs are also asked in the entrance test.
AIIMS MBBS advisory
Prior to the exam, on May 24, 2019, the authority had released an advisory for the candidates who will appear for the AIIMS MBBS 2019. As per the advisory released by the authority, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall past the entry time. The reporting time has been mentioned in the admit card.
Candidates can only carry three items to exam hall which includes the admit card with a photo of the candidate affixed to it, original photo ID proof and two recent passport size photograph with white background.
While AIIMS does not specify any particular dress, it is expected that you would dress appropriately for the local weather. Please note that hats, caps, scarves, and similar headgear, as well as goggles, thick-soled footwear, and large metallic buttons, are prohibited.
AIIMS MBBS Result
After the conclusion of the entrance exam, AIIMS, New Delhi, will declare the result on June 12, 2019. The roll number-wise and rank-wise result will be released by the authority in the form of a merit list. Only candidates who will secure the minimum qualifying percentage will be able to access the result. The merit list will include name, total scores, subject-wise percentile scores and qualifying status of qualified aspirants.
