Download EBookNEW DELHI, May 26 : AIIMS, Delhi has successfully wrapped up the entrance exam on May 26 after the conclusion of the second shift on Day 2. The entrance exam was conducted in a computer-based mode in two shifts per day, held on May 25 and May 26, 2019. AIIMS MBBS, considered to be one of the toughest medical entrance tests, is the gateway to 1,207 seats being offered in 15 AIIMS institutions located in various cities of the country. Unlike last year, this year the exam was held in 151 exam cities in India.
The authority has activated the facility to retrieve login credentials, in case a candidate had misplaced it. The login credentials are important to access the result which cannot be accessed without the registration ID and password.
AIIMS MBBS result 2019
The authority will release the result of AIIMS MBBS on June 12, 2019 in online mode. Candidates who have appeared for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be able to check their result on the official website of aiimsexams.org. The authority will upload the rank wise and roll number wise result in the form of merit list on the official website. To access the result, candidates will have to enter their registration ID, RUC code, password and captcha code provided on the screen. To qualify the exam, candidate will have to secure the qualifying percentile which is set at 50% for unreserved category, 45% for OBC category candidates and 40% for SC/ ST category candidates.
AIIMS MBBS counselling
The dates for counselling procedure has not been officially announced but it is most likely to fall in the last week of June. The counselling for AIIMS UG admission is done in online mode. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be invited to participate in the counselling procedure. The authority invites four times the availability of seats for the counselling process. A total of three rounds of counselling will be conducted to fill 1,207 seats in 15 AIIMS located across India.
