In a last-minute change, AIIMS Nagpur has now announced to conduct fifth-semester exam for the 2019 MBBS batch from February 7 to 12.

NEW DELHI: After the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur took a u-turn and said it will conduct semester exams offline from February 7. Following this last-minute change, medical students have been demanding postponement of semester exams or to conduct exams in online mode.
Tagging the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, AIIMS Nagpur, the All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) wrote on Twitter, “We, the 2nd year students of AIIMS Nagpur request to hear our concern, we were told that everything will be online till 15th of February, now suddenly we are having offline exams from 7th of February. We request for postponement of exams or online exams.”

As per the notice shared by the All India Medical Students’ Association, the institute had in a notice dated January 10, 2022, informed students that the classes for MBBS students will be held in online mode and clinical postings are suspended from January 10 to February 15 due to the Covid-19 situation and Maharashtra government’s order.
However, the medical students' group claimed that the AIIMS Nagpur has now changed announced to conduct the fifth-semester exam for the 2019 MBBS batch from February 7 to 12, 2022.
As per AIIMS Nagpur’s latest notice, shared by AIMSA, the pre-professional theory examination for the students will be held from 9.30 AM to 12 PM. The notice further informed about the seating arrangements.
