AILET 2020 exam date announced; to be conducted on September 26 in CBT, centre-based mode

Try NowNew Delhi : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the AILET 2020 entrance exam on September 29 (11 am - 12.30 pm). The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode at more than 100 test centres across the country. The news was shared by NLU Delhi on its official website: nludelhi.ac.in/ailet2020.aspx.
It may be noted that the institute had earlier indefinitely postponed the AILET 2020 exam in view of the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.
AILET 2020 exam will be conducted for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD law courses offered by the institute. The BA LLB program has an intake capacity of 110 seats, and the LLM 70 seats.
NLU Delhi to release detailed safety guidelines in the coming days
Given the safety concerns students have regarding a centre-based exam, the institute plans to release detailed safety guidelines that will be undertaken by the institute and also those to be followed by the student.
For example, students may be asked to compulsorily wear masks and carry sanitizers with them when arriving at the AILET 2020 exam centre. It may be noted that the CLAT 2020 conducting authority has released similar guidelines for candidates.
CLAT authorities also have promised to properly sanitize test centres, use Thermo Guns to test candidates for signs of COVID-19, and employ sufficient stuff to ensure social distancing.
AILET 2020 admit card schedule to be announced soon
NLU Delhi has also informed that it will release the schedule for the release of the AILET 2020 hall ticket /admit card soon. An important document for apprating in the exam, the admit card will carry details like the date and time of the AILET exam 2020, roll number, and AILET exam centre 2020 details.
On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof along with the admit card.
