AILET 2020 postponed again; now to be conducted in August, application also extended
New Delhi: The Registrar of Examinations, NLU Delhi, in a notification released on May 14, has notified that AILET 2020 will now be conducted tentatively in the month of August. The decision to postpone the exam has been taken in view of the current lockdown situation. A definite exam date will be announced by the university only after accessing the prevailing situation.

This is the second time the exam has been postponed; originally it was slated for May 3 but was later postponed to May 31.
The last date to fill AILET application form has also been extended to June 30 from May 15. In another development, the university has decided to allow applicants to edit their exam city options. The facility will be available from June 24-30, 2020.

About the exam
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam is conducted by NLU Delhi for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses offered by the university. The BA LLB course has an intake capacity of 110 seats, while for the LLM program intake is 70 seats.
AILET 2020 will be conducted in offline mode and include 150 MCQs of 1 mark each, there is no negative marking. The exam duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes.
