NEW DELHI: NLU Delhi has notified that the results of AILET seat allotment for Round II will be announced on August 13, 2021 (tomorrow). It was earlier slated to be declared on August 12. Also, candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats in Round II can pay the balance fee till 5 pm on August 16, 2021. The seat allotment results for Round I was announced on August 9.

NLU Delhi conducted the pen-and-paper based AILET 2021 exam on July 30. The results of the exams were announced on August 4.

Based on AILET 2021 counselling, the following seats will be filled:
BA LLB programme - 110 seats
LLM programme - 70 seats
Note: The above figures don’t include supernumerary seats and seats earmarked for Foreign nationals.
AILET 2021 counselling process is explained below
Publication of Invite-lists - NLU Delhi had published a list of shortlisted candidates who can participate in the counselling. The list is known as the “Invite List.” The number of candidates invited for counselling is approximately three times the number of available seats in each category.
Counselling registration - Eligible candidates next need to get registered by logging into the portal using their Roll No./Application No and Date of Birth. After login, the candidate has to pay the counselling fee (Rs. 50,000) and upload counselling documents.
Seat allotment (provisional) - The allotment of seats for Round I was announced on August 9. The second and final allotment will be announced on August 13. The AILET 2021 merit rank of the candidate is considered for the seat allotment.
Deposit of balance fee - Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to pay the balance fee of Rs.89,000.
Mode of fee payment: The counselling and balance fee has to be paid online using Digital Payment methods like Credit/ Debit Card, Net-banking, UPI, RTGS/NEFT.
Documents required for AILET Counselling 2021
The candidate needs to self-attest and upload the following documents at the time of counselling.
Class 10 and 10+2 mark sheets
Character certificate issued by the school/institution last attended
Category certificate, if applied for admission under reserved category
Any other supporting document to be considered for admission under the category the candidate has applied to.
