AISSEE 2021 exam concludes; Know exam analysis, answer key, result date

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully concluded the class 6 and 9 Sainik school entrance exam. For class 6, the exam was conducted from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. For Class 9, the examination was conducted from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. It was a pen paper based examination.
The results will be processed and hosted on the NTA website. It is expected that result will be out by the end of February 2021. This year, AISSEE was conducted in 176 cities among 380 centres for a total of 1,33,515 registered students of Classes 6 and 9. The total number of appeared students are to be announced.
For class 6 and 9, there were a total 125 and 150 questions were asked, respectively. The exam duration for class 6 and 9 was 2 hours 30 minutes and 3 hours respectively. For class 6, the questions have been asked from Maths, General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence that carries a total of 300 marks of the examination. For class 9, the questions have been asked from Maths, General Knowledge, English, Social Studies, and Intelligence that carries a total of 400 marks of the examination.
How can students view their answer sheet?
The scanned copy of the answer sheet will be available on the official website of NTA. Students have to pay a non-refundable Rs. 100 fee to view their answer sheet.
According to the official AISSEE 2021 information bulletin, students need to secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% aggregate marks to be eligible for admission. However, actual admission will be based on the AISSEE score, the relative merit of candidates applying for a particular school, the medical exam and requisite document.
Correction: An earlier version of this story suggested that the 25% and 45% were cut-off marks. They are not and the NTA is yet to declare the merit lists. That has now been corrected.
