AKTU releases admit card for offline odd semester exam 2021 amid students’ protest
AKTU also extended the last date to submit exam fee for the odd semester exam 2021 till December 25. Meanwhile, students protest for online exam continue.
NEW DELHI: Amid students’ protest to hold exams in online mode, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow has released the AKTU admit card 2021 for offline odd semester exams. AKTU also extended the last date to submit the exam fee for the odd semester examination 2021 till December 25.
Students can download the AKTU admit card 2020-21 from the ERP login portal. Those who on could not pay the exam fee for odd semester exams can also make the payment at erp.aktu.ac.in by logging in using user id and password.
'Forced' to appear for AKTU offline exam, students claim
Meanwhile, students continue their protest against the university’s decision to conduct the odd semester exams in offline mode due to the pandemic situation and Omicron fears. They also sought Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adiyanath’s intervention.
Students on social media claimed that they were “forced” and “pressurised to take the take offline odd semester exams. #aktuonlineexam2022 trends on social media.

However, the AKTU has not yet responded to the students request yet.
A student said, “India's Omicron cases continue to rise, with the tally inching up to 171. The govt has warned against unnecessary travel and has urged citizens to socialise carefully. Aktu can't you see you are putting lakh of students in cave of death.”

Some students have also requested for extending the odd semester exam 2021. A Twitter user wrote, "And I think Digital India is just a waste of time and efforts because when need of online doesn't used then it is a fake scheme and waste of money spend on it. We students of AKTU Lucknow demands online exam which is in need of this meantime."
