AKTU UPTAC round 2 BTech choice filling 2023 starts tomorrow; counselling process, dates
UPTAC 2nd round seat allotment 2023 for BTech, BArch admission is scheduled to be declared on September 22 at uptac.admissions.nic.in.

NEW DELHI: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will begin the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC 2023) round 2 choice filling process for BTech, BArch tomorrow, September 21. Candidates who have registered for round 1 at uptac.admissions.nic.in need not apply again to participate in the AKTU UPTAC round 2 BTech counselling.
Based on the order of preference of courses and colleges, seat availability and other factors, seat allotment results will be declared. UPTAC 2nd round BTech seat allotment is scheduled for September 22.
Meanwhile, AKTU, the conducting body, will also begin the round 2 choice filling facility for UG, PG courses through CUET score on September 22.
Candidates allotted seats will have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 if belonging to general category and reserved category applicants should pay Rs 12,000.
The choice locking facility will end during the third round. Therefore, applicants will have to make sure that the choices opted are filled in the order of preference. AKTU will be conducting a total of six rounds of counselling. From round 4 to 5, candidates will not have an option to fill choices.

As per the reservation policy for candidates of UP, Other Backward Castes (OBC) have 27% reservation, Scheduled Caste (SC) has 21% and Scheduled Tribe has 2% quota.
