Faculty members of Al-Falah University, including senior professors, professors, and lecturers across all departments, issued a collective statement regarding the ongoing investigation linked to the Delhi Red Fort blast case. The statement emphasised cooperation with investigating agencies and reaffirmed that academic and administrative activities at the university continue as normal.
In the statement, the faculty condemned any act that threatens public safety, national security, or the integrity of the medical profession. "We believe that any act that threatens public safety, national security, or the dignity of the medical profession is unacceptable and deserves the strictest possible action under the law," the faculty said.
The faculty members further clarified that the university continues to operate normally and that academic, laboratory, and administrative processes follow legal, ethical, and regulatory norms. Faculty members assured students, parents, and other stakeholders that the university remains committed to preventing any such incidents in the future.
The university faculty stated that they and the administration are fully cooperating with the investigating agencies and are committed to providing all information requested during the inquiry. They emphasised that transparency, accountability, and adherence to the standards expected from medical education and professionals remain their top priorities.
The faculty also urged social media users and online platforms to act responsibly, advising against sharing unverified or speculative information that could create unnecessary concern among students, parents, and the general public.
The faculty concluded by reaffirming their commitment to the university’s standards and students. "We, the Professors and all faculty members of Al-Falah University, reaffirm our dedication to maintaining the dignity of the institution, supporting our students in their pursuit of medical excellence, and serving the Nation with integrity, responsibility, and professionalism," the statement said.
In recent developments, Al-Falah University remains under scrutiny from regulatory and law enforcement authorities following the arrest of several doctors linked to the Delhi Red Fort blast and an associated terror module.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has instructed the university to remove false accreditation claims from its website, while the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has suspended its membership.
Delhi Police have summoned the university chairman in connection with FIRs filed for alleged forgery and cheating, examining records, finances, and approvals linked to the arrested individuals.
