Allahabad University closes application window within 3 days of availability

NEW DELHI : Allahabad University has closed down its application window for the entrance test for UG and PG admissions till the time new dates for its availability are announced. The application window has been closed down on March 28, three days after it was released on March 25. This decision of closing the application process has been taken to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Not only this, but the university officials have also declared that the admission process for the academic year 2020-21 will be delayed.

As per the official announcement by University of Allahabad officials, “In the light of new advisory issued by the Government regarding measures to prevent spreading of Coronavirus (COVID-19) the University Administration has decided to postpone the admission process till further notice.”

This means that besides the new dates for the release of the application form, the scheduled of other events – the release of admit card, exam dates, results, counselling may also be shifted further. Though it’s a wait and watch situation till the time the officials come up with the new dates.

Thus, candidates who could not fill the application form of Allahabad University from March 25 to 27, can start applying for the UG/PG entrance test soon with the release of the application window. While filling the application form, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria so as not to face any hassle at any later stage. To fill the Allahabad University 2020 application form, candidates have to first register on the official website and then fill academic, personal and contact details. After the submission of the complete application form, candidates can pay the application fee either by credit card, debit card or net banking. Candidates must not forget to keep the acknowledgement receipt with them and a couple of printouts of the submitted application form.

As of now, the admit card for Allahabad University entrance test 2020 is expected to be released in the first week of May, in online mode. After the availability of the hall tickets, the university will hold the entrance test for UG and PG programmes from May 12 to 27.
