Anant National University to conduct college entrance test ADEPT 2026 for BDes admissions on January 4

Anant National University (ANU) will conduct the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT 2026) for admission to its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme on January 4, 2026. Interested students can apply for the ADEPT 2026 entrance exam by January 1 on the official website, anu.edu.in.
The computer-based college entrance exam will be conducted in 10 languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Punjabi.
To apply for the BDes programme, candidates must have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any stream (science, commerce, or arts/ humanities) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

The ADEPT exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode, with a duration of 90 minutes. It will comprise three sections: General Knowledge/ Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning/ Analytical Ability, and Design Aptitude. It will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
To apply for the ADEPT 2026 exam, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500. This university offers a total of 600 seats for the BDes design programme.
Anant University BDes Admission 2026: Selection process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in ADEPT or Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design ( UCEED ) score, followed by a situation test, a personal interaction (PI) and portfolio, and finally the issuance of provisional admission offers or declaration of waitlisted candidates.
Anant University considers candidates with a UCEED All India Rank (AIR) of up to 2500 for merit-based scholarships.

Last year, applicants from 304 cities across the country applied for this ADEPT exam.
