The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2026 for the Engineering stream begins today, May 12, in two shifts. More than 3.55 lakh candidates are appearing for the AP EAMCET 2026 exam. Since the exams are being conducted in two shifts every day, candidates should carefully check their shift and reporting time mentioned on the AP EAMCET admit card.

As per the official AP EAMCET schedule, the forenoon (FN) shift is conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, and the afternoon (AN) shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates appearing in the morning shift should reach the AP EAMCET exam centre by 7:30 AM, while those appearing in the afternoon shift should report by 1:30 PM. The 90-minute reporting time is important for security checking, document verification, and login procedures.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the exam starts. Candidates also cannot leave the hall before the exam ends. The AP EAMCET exam will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and will last for 180 minutes.
Candidates will be asked to log in to their computer systems 15 minutes before the exam begins. After the exam time is over, the test will close automatically, and candidates will not need to submit it manually.
As per the AP EAPCET exam day guidelines, candidates are advised to carry the items listed below for verification purposes.
Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, etc., is prohibited.
Any electronic device like a mobile phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Calculator, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch, health band or smart watch, electronic pen or scanner, etc., will not be allowed.
Other items like wallet, goggles, handbags, belt, cap, water bottle, or any edible item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle, etc will not be allowed.
