The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has opened the registrations for AP EAMCET 2026 for admission to engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTU) will conduct the AP EAMCET 2026 exams for both branches between May 12 to 20.

The council has published the AP EAPCET information brochure, along with the eligibility criteria, important dates, syllabus, and application form on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
The last date to submit the application form is March 7. Candidates who miss the registration last date will have to pay a late fee ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000, with the final deadline set for March 26.
The APSCHE has confirmed AP EAMCET exam dates 2026 for both engineering and agriculture. The AP EAPCET exam for engineering will be conducted from May 12 to 15 and 18, and agriculture exams from May 19 and 20.
The engineering entrance exam will be held in two shifts each day – morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm through a computer-based test (CBT). The question paper will consist of 160 multiple-choice questions, carrying one mark each, with no negative marking.
For agriculture and pharmacy, the paper will include 80 questions from biology (botony and zoology) and 40 questions from physics and chemistry. The medium of the exam will be English and Telugu, with Urdu translation support available at the Kurnool test centre. “In case of ambiguity in the Telugu Question, the Question given in English shall be taken as final,” it said.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must be Indian national and meet Andhra Pradesh local or non-local status requirement for 2026-27 academic year. For most courses, applicants must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam and 40% for reserved categories.
The minimum age for admission to agriculture and allied courses is 17 years as on December 31, 2026, with an upper age limit of 22 years and 25 years for SC, ST candidates.
General candidates will have to pay an AP EAMCET application fee of Rs 800, Rs 750 for BC, and Rs 70 for SC and ST, payable online through net banking, card, or AP online services.
Admissions to the top engineering and agriculture colleges in Andhra Pradesh will be done based on 75% weightage to AP EAMCET scores and 25% weightage to Class 12 marks.
