New Delhi, February 18: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will commence its application process for AP ECET 2019 from today. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test 2019 is an entrance examination for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates seeking admission in the second year of B.Tech, B.E and Pharmacy courses. The application process has commenced from today i.e. February 18, 2019 and the conducting body shall accept applications till March 27, 2019. Students can also submit the application form with late fees of rs.1000 till April 2, 2019. JNTU, Anantpur will conduct the entrance exam this year on behalf of APSCHE. The entrance test will be held on April 19, 2019 across various examination centres in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for AP ECET 2019

Candidate must have passed their diploma in engineering technology/pharmacy from a recognized institution with minimum 45% aggregate score (40% for SC/ST candidates) OR Candidate must have passed their BSc. degree in Mathematics from any of the recognized institution with minimum 45 % aggregate score (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) |
Candidates who have passed diploma will be eligible for respective streams in B.tech/B.E. The common entrance examination will be conducted solely in online mode (computer-based test). There will be total of 200 objective type questions and each question will carry one mark. Results for the entrance examination will be declared on April 29, 2019 through online mode. Students who have passed BSc. with Mathematics as an optional subject will be considered for admission only after exhausting seats for diploma holders.
