AP EdCET 2024 registration begins at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in; apply by May 15

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has begun the registration process for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the AP EdCET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
The AP EdCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 8 in a single shift from 9 am to 11 am. Candidates can fill out the AP EdCET 2024 application form by May 15 without paying any late fee.
Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 650 to register for the AP EdCET 2024 exam. For backward class (BC) category candidates, the application fee is Rs 500. Scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates should pay Rs 450 to register for AP EdCET 2024.
The APEdCET exam is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, for admission into the Bachelor of Education (BEd) regular course and BEd special education programme offered by universities in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-2025.
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the bachelor’s degree or in the postgraduate degree in the relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto to be eligible for the exam.
The candidates should also have attained the age of 19 years on July 1 of the year in which the notification is issued. There is no upper age limit for eligibility.
