“For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut off in AP ICET-2023, if the marks in AP ICET-2023 go below zero (negative) after normalization, the total marks will be treated as zero and the ranks are assigned based on those marks. If tie persists, then AP ICET-2023 normalization marks will be considered for breaking the tie,” read AP ICET 2023 info bulletin.

AP ICET 2023 result declaration has been postponed. As per reports, AP ICET result 2023 was supposed to be declared on June 8. However, there is no update on result date on the official website as of now.  

"Ranks obtained in AP ICET-2023 are valid only for 2023-24 academic year admissions into the various universities constituent and affiliated colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh," said the AP ICET 2023 information bulletin.

The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA programmes offered by participating Andhra Pradesh institutes. 

The exam authority will use the marks normalisation process as AP ICET 2023 was conducted in different sessions. The process is as follows:

Candidates who secure 25% in AP ICET 2023 which is 50 marks out of 200 will be assigned ranks in the order of marks obtained by them. 

AP ICET 2023 exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks. The question paper included 200 questions on analytical, communication, and mathematical abilities. 

The score range of 140-160 can be taken into consideration to have top ranks in AP ICET.

The expected AP ICET 2023 rank for 60 marks is between 40001 to 60000.

The AP ICET 2023 qualifying score is 50 which is 25% of the total marks.

The AP ICET 2023 normalization process will be implemented to determine the final AP ICET 2023 score. This process involves the following calculations:

• GMS (Global Mean Score): It is the average of the marks obtained by all the candidates across all sessions combined, along with their respective standard deviation.
• SMS (Session Mean Score): It represents the average marks of the candidates belonging to a specific session, along with the standard deviation of that session.
• Top Average Global: It denotes the average marks of the top 0.1 per cent of all candidates across all sessions combined.
• Top Average Session: It refers to the average marks of the top 0.1 per cent of candidates in the specific session to which the candidate belongs.

The authorities will release the AP ICET qualifying marks for different categories. Based on previous year trends, the AP ICET qualifying marks were set at 25%, which equates to 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST category are not subject to any specific qualifying marks requirement.

Participating institutes of AP ICET 2023 will independently determine their respective cutoff scores. During the process of finalizing the AP ICET 2023 cutoff, several factors will be taken into account, including the previous year's cutoff list, the number of qualifying candidates, the level of difficulty of the AP ICET 2023 exam, and the total availability of seats.
