NEW DELHI - The State Board of Technical Education and Training has postponed the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) that was scheduled to take place on April 28. The authorities have also extended the last date to fill AP POLYCET application form till May 15 allowing candidates an additional period to apply for the exam. Candidates may note down certain important points related with AP POLYCET 2020 as mentioned below:
AP POLYCET has been postponed till further notice
The postponement has taken place as the lockdown persists in India due to Coronavirus pandemic
The authorities have extended the last date to apply for the exam
Earlier, April 21 was the application last date which is now extended till May 15
The authorities will announce revised exam dates after the lockdown ends.
About AP POLYCET
The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, commonly known as AP POLYCET is an entrance examination for admissions into polytechnic courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P. Amaravati annually in offline mode for 2 hour duration wherein 120 multiple choice questions are asked to candidates. Those who qualify have to participate in counselling and seat allotment process.
