AP POLYCET 2024 exam on April 27; govt polytechnic colleges to provide free coaching: Report

NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training will conduct the AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET 2024) on April 27, reports quoted technical education commission Chadalavada Nagarani as saying. The AP Polycet registration 2024 usually begins in February.

The AP POLYCET official website 2024 will be launched by the board soon along with the notification and application form. Candidates who are eligible will be able to register on the official website, polycetap.nic.in.

The AP technical education board will conduct POLYCET exam for aspirants seeking admission in all diploma courses in engineering, non-engineering, and technology. Polytechnics institutions, including aided and unaided private polytechnic colleges running as 2nd shift in private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh will offer admission based on the AP POLYCET score for the academic year 2024-25.

“All the 87 government polytechnic colleges in the State will provide free coaching in English and Telugu for the PolyCET-2024, and the preparation books will be distributed free of charge to the students after the Class 10 exams are finished,” The Hindu reported.

Students who have passed the SSC Class 10 exam or an equivalent exam scoring a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate with mathematics as a compulsory subject will be eligible to apply for POLYCET exam 2024.

The POLYCET question paper will have a total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Mathematics section will have a total of 60 questions, whereas physics and chemistry will have 30 questions each.
