The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has published the APPSC exam calendar for the 21 posts in various government departments for the year 2026. The APPSC recruitment exams will be conducted in two phases – phase 1 from January 27 to 31 and phase 2 from February 9 to 13 – in OMR-based test.
As per the APPSC exam calendar 2026, the first spell of exams will be held from January 27 to 31, for posts such as agriculture officer, technical assistant (Geo-Physics), junior lecturer (library science), assistant engineer, hostel welfare officer, assistant executive engineer, horticulture officer, junior officer assistant.
The second spell will be from February 9 to 13 for forest beat officer, assistant beat officer, thanedar, executive officer grade-III, and forest section officer exams. All the 21 posts require candidates to qualify two papers.
For multiple posts, APPSC has stated that qualifying the single General Studies and Mental Ability (GS and MA) paper with the minimum cut-off is mandatory. In some cases, a common qualifying test will be used, it said.
The exams will be held majorly in two shifts - forenoon session will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and afternoon session from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
The commission said that it will conduct the exams for most posts at five district centres — Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, NTR, Tirupati, and Ananthapuramu.
Recruitment for forest beat officer, thanedar in AP Forest Sub-ordinate Service, executive officer grade-III in AP Endowments Sub-ordinate Service will be held in the erstwhile 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
