APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam 2018 New Dates; Check Revised Schedule Here

NEW DELHI, July 4, 2019: Andhra Pradesh Public Service (APPSC) has announced revised dates of APPSC Group 1 mains exam on July 4, 2019. According to the official notice, the mains exam will be held on December 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21 & 23, 2019. APPSC Group 1 mains exam will be conducted in offline mode paper wise on the scheduled date.

According to the exam pattern prescribed by APPSC, the mains exam consists of seven papers where the first two papers pertaining to Telugu and English are qualifying in nature. However, in other 6 papers candidates need to obtain certain marks to qualify the exam. The total marks allotted to mains exam 825 marks where the marks of Telugu and English will not be calculated.

To answer each paper of APPSC Group 1 mains exam 2018, candidates will be allotted 180 minutes. Candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be selected to appear for the mains exam. The result of the screening test is expected to be released in July 2019. Along with the declaration of APPSC Group 1 preliminary result, candidates will be also able to check the cut off of prelims/screening test.

APPSC conducts APPSC group 1 exam for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil), Deputy Collectors (Exe.), Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, District Fire Officer etc. A total of 167 posts have been announced for the year 2018 recruitment.
