NEW DELHI, MAY 5: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is conducting APPSC Group 2 Screening test today, on May 5 across 727 venues in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. As per a notification released by APPSC, a total of 2,95,036 candidates have applied for the executive and non-executive posts.

Candidates were required to carry APPSC Group 2 admit card and one photo identity proof - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License and Bank Passbook to the exam centre from 9 to 9.45 am. No candidates were allowed to enter the exam hall after the prescribed time of APPSC Group 2. The admit card and ID proof of candidates have to bear the same name as that on the admit card of APPSC Group 2 2019. The admit card could be downloaded from the official website - psc.ap.gov.in.

APPSC Group 2 exam is being held in offline mode for 2 hours 30 minutes and consists of objective type questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 150 questions for 150 marks.

After the exam, the exam conducting body is expected to release the APPSC Group 2 answer key. Candidates can calculate their expected scores and predict the chance to qualify for the exam. APPSC is expected to declare the result of the screening test in June. Based on the APPSC Group 2 result 2019 for the screening test, candidates will be shortlisted for mains exam. APPSC Group 2 mains exam will be held on July 18 and 19, 2019. The admit card dates for has not been announced yet.

APPSC conducts Group 2 exam for the recruitment of executive and non-executive posts in Municipal Commissioner Subordinate Service, Commercial Taxes Sub-ordinate Service, Registration Sub-ordinate Service, State Audit Subordinate Service of Andhra Pradesh. A total of 446 vacancies have been announced for 2019 recruitment.
