NEW DELHI, MAY 11: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has published the final answer key of APSC of the preliminary exam on May 11, 2019. The examination authority has released the final answer key for General Studies and all the optional subjects in the form of pdf. To check and download the final APSC answer key 2018, candidates have to visit the official website - apsc.nic.in . The APSC final answer key 2018 has been released after reviewing the objections of the candidates.
Candidates were also given an opportunity to submit objections in case they find errors/mistakes in the official answer keys. The final APSC answer key 2018 contains the correct responses against all the questions asked in all the sets of the question booklet. Earlier, the exam conducting body had released the provisional answer key of APSC 2018 for all the sets on March 20 whereas the result for the preliminary exam was declared on March 13.
APSC result was declared online in the form of a PDF file containing the roll numbers of the candidates selected for the next stage of the recruitment process. Based on the result of the preliminary exam, candidates 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies have been selected. APSC mains exam is expected to be conducted in July 2019.
The Commission has announced 261 vacancies which will be filled based on candidates’ performance in the mains written exam and interview. Candidates securing the minimum cut off in the mains and interview will be recruited to various posts including Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade), Assam Land and Revenue Service (Junior Grade), Assam Police Service (Junior Grade), Labour Inspector, Superintendent of Excise, Inspector of Taxes, etc.
