NEW DELHI: The Department of School Education of Andhra Pradesh has released the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) syllabus and exam pattern for the 2021 session. The syllabus and exam pattern of the APTET 2021 exam is released on the official website - aptet.apcfss -in PDF format. Candidates who are planning to take the exam are advised to check the syllabus for better preparations.

How many papers are there in APTET 2021?

As per the syllabus and exam pattern of APTET 2021, there are four papers in the exam. All the papers are conducted in offline mode. Candidates can appear in any one of the papers or they also have an option to appear in all. Answers to the questions have to be marked in the OMR sheet.

Subjects in APTET 2021

The APTET question paper will be based on topics such as - child development and pedagogy, Languages, Telugu/ Urdu/ Hindi/ Kannada/ Tamil/ Odiya, English, mathematics and environment studies. There will also be questions from social studies, category of disability specialisation and pedagogy. For the detailed APTET syllabus 2021, candidates can download the syllabus PDF attached here.

All papers consist of 150 questions of 150 marks and there is no negative marking in the exam.

What is the APTET 2021 exam?

The APTET exam is conducted by the Department of School Education of Andhra Pradesh to determine eligibility of candidates for teacher posts. Candidates who qualify the exam can then apply in the government schools within the state of Andhra Pradesh to teach students from Classes 1 to 8. Candidates can also apply in private aided and private unaided schools of the state which ask for APTET as an eligibility criteria.
