Army TES notification 2019 released; application to be available at 12 pm today

NEW DELHI, MAY 10: Indian Army has released the notification of Army TES (Technical Entry Scheme) for batch 42 on May 10, 2019. The application form for which is to be released today at 12 pm. As per the notification released, the application form will be available till June 8, 2019.

Only those candidates can fill the application form who are between 16½ and 19½ years of age as on the first day of the month in which the course will start. Candidates must have passed class 12 or its equivalent with at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to be eligible for TES.

To fill the application form, candidates will have to visit the official website of the examination authority - joinindianarmy.nic.in and click on the application form link. The application for the candidates will be shortlisted based on cut off percentage applied as determined by the authority.

Shortlisted candidates will further have to appear for the SSB interview round which is conducted for a total of 5 days. The interview is conducted in two stages - stage I and II. Only those who qualify stage I will appear for the stage II round of SSB interview. The interview will be followed by the medical examination after which the shortlisted candidates will be issued the joining letters on the basis of merit cum preference.

Army TES exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates at Indian Army granting Permanent Commission in the Army Technical Division. This year, the exam will be conducted for a total of 90 vacancies.
