Ashoka University announces 100% tuition fee waivers for 50 JEE Main high scorers in 2026

Ashoka University, Delhi-NCR has announced 100% tuition fee waivers for 50 outstanding performers in the Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Mains) 2026. The initiative is part of the university’s Special Merit Scholarships under the undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2026-27.

Students should have scored 98% in the JEE Mains 2026 and meet Ashoka University’s admissions criteria to be eligible for the Special Merit Scholarship.

The registration process to apply for the Special Merit Scholarship will conclude on May 31, 2026. Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the official website at ashoka.edu.in.

“The scholarships aim to support high-achieving students who have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence in one of India’s most competitive national entrance examinations,” according to an official statement.

100% tuiton fee waiver for CS, Natural Sciences programme

Shortlisted students will join the university’s degree programmes in computer science and natural sciences. They will receive the full tuition waiver for the entire duration of their UG programme, the university said.

By recognising top JEE Main achievers through full tuition waivers, we aim to bring some of India’s brightest young minds into the University’s interdisciplinary learning environment and help shape them as future leaders equipped with intellectual rigour, critical thinking, and a strong sense of social responsibility.”

Through the Special Merit Scholarships, the university will disburse 500 merit and need-based scholarships, including 200 newly introduced merit scholarships, it said.

Of the total 200 new ones, 150 are Achievers’ Merit Scholarships, which will offer up to 100% tuition fee waivers on the basis of academic performance and admissions process, it added.

In addition, the university will continue to provide need-based scholarships, including full fee waivers, to support students on the basis of their financial conditions, it said.
