Assam Class 12 Result 2026 Analysis: Bajali district records highest pass percentage across all streams

Check NowThe Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) or Class 12 Result 2026 today, April 28, 2026. The board did not release the toppers list. Students can check their scores on the official websites of Assam board at ahsec.assam.gov.in, resultsassam.nic.in, asseb.in . Assam HS REsult 2026 LIVE Updates .
In the Arts stream, a total of 2,47,890 candidates applied, out of which 2,41,124 appeared and 1,91,798 passed, recording a pass percentage of 79.54%. In Commerce, 19,823 students applied and 19,469 appeared, with 15,796 passing and an overall pass percentage of 81.13%.
The Science stream saw 61,580 applicants and 60,667 candidates appearing, of whom 54,474 cleared the exam, achieving the highest pass percentage of 89.79%. Meanwhile, in the Vocational stream, 1,505 candidates applied, 1,465 appeared, and 1,087 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.19%.
Students who took the examinations held from February 13 to March 17 can check their results, which cover all streams including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational courses.

To check the Assam Class 12 result 2026, students need to follow the following steps:

The result will be displayed on the screen

Download and keep a copy of the marksheet for future use
The Assam HS result will display key details such as the student’s name, roll number, marks obtained in each subject, overall score, division (First, Second, or Third), and pass status. Candidates who are unhappy with their scores can opt for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets. Those who do not pass in one or more subjects will need to appear for compartment exams.
