Download NowThe Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will declare the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) or Class 12 results 2026 today, April 28, 2026, at 10:30 am on the official website at ahsec.assam.gov.in and resultsassam.nic.in. Besides the official website, the AHSEC Assam HS result 2026 will also be accessible on asseb.in and via DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in.
Along with the Assam HS result, the board will also release the overall pass percentage, topper names, gender-wise data, and district performance. Students can access their Assam HS result 2026 through different ways, including online platforms, mobile apps, and SMS services.

The AHSEC conducted the Class 12 exams from February 13 to March 17 at 821 centres across the state. Over 3.30 lakh students appeared for the exams this year.
For the Assam HS exam 2026 academic session, AHSEC has changed the passing rules. Students now need at least 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and practical, to pass, instead of the earlier 30%. They must pass both theory and practical exams separately to clear a subject.
Assam HS Result 2026: Steps to check
To check the HS result 2026 Assam scores, students need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the Assam Board at ahsec.assam.gov.in 2026
- Click on the “HS or Class 12 Result 2026” link
- Enter the details, including roll number and then submit
- The Assam 12th Result 2026 will be displayed on the screen
- Download the Assam Class HS result 2026 and take a printout of the marksheet for future use.
Higher Secondary Result Date 2026: Last year's statistics
Based on last year’s Assam HS result, the overall pass percentage was 79.26%. Around 3,06,925 students appeared, and 3,02,613 passed.
Science recorded the highest pass rate at 84.88%, followed by Commerce (82.18%), Arts (81.03%), and Vocational (68.55%). Female students outperformed males, with a pass rate of 82.95% compared to 78.42% for male students.
