Assam HSLC & HSSLC 2019 exam dates announced; exams to begin in February

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 19 : The Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has declared the Class 10 & 12 time tables respectively. The class 10 examinations are scheduled between February 14 and March 2 while class 12 exams are set to begin on February 12 with English and the last exam will be conducted on March 15 of Computer Science and Applications. This year, the Assam board final examinations are scheduled to begin early due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
As per reports, a total of 3,57,000 students will appear for class 10 examination which will be conducted at 857 centres across the state. The Board will introduce barcode in the answer sheet from this year and students will have to write their answers with black pen. No review request for Mathematics and Advanced mathematics will be entertained.
For security purpose, every exam centre will have CCTVs installed. The 73 centres identified as sensitive and hyper sensitive by the Board will deploy special flying squads to monitor examination. Also, Section 144 of the CrPC will be promulgated in the 100-metre periphery of such zones.
