Assam NEET PG 2025 Counselling: 604 allotted MD, MS seats in round 1; report by December 5

The Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam has announced the seat allotment for round 1 of the Assam National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling for MD, MS and post graduate diploma courses. Candidates can check their seat allotment results through the official website at dme.assam.gov.in.

A total of 604 candidates have been allotted seats at government and private medical colleges across Assam through Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1. Those candidates will have to report to their respective institutes between December 4 and 5 for document verification.

The Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1 has been conducted for admission into 50% PG seats in government medical colleges of Assam and BBCL, Guwahati under Assam state quota after completion of round 1 of online counselling for academic session 2025.

“This is for information of all concerned that the provisional select list of candidate after the 1" round online counselling for 50% Post Graduate seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati under Assam State Quota for session 2025, has already been published in the official website www.dme.assam.gov.in,” according to official notice.

Moreover, candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) category or DIVYANG should have to report along with all relevant certificates in original to the office of the principal-cum-chief superintendent, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Bhangagarg, Guwahati for verification of their disability status by the medical board on December 3 at 10 am.

“Candidates must bring all relevant documents in original along with Admission and Counselling fees etc. at the time of Admission,” the notice added.

Those registered students who have already taken admission under 50% All India Quota must produce a copy of resignation or surrender acceptance letter from the respective colleges or institutes for admission.
