The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has announced the seat allotment result for the Assam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) round 1 counselling 2025, today. A total of 3,122 candidates are listed in Assam’s NEET UG 2025 seat allotment for admission to Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes.

Eligible candidates who participated in the counselling process can download the Assam NEET UG 2025 seat allotment PDF through the official DME Assam website at dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates allotted a seat in this round will have to report to the respective college principals by August 22, 23 for admission.
As per the official notice, candidates selected under the PwD category are required to report to the office of the Principal cum Chief Superintendent, Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Bhangagarh, Guwahati, for verification of disability status by the Medical Board on August 20, 2025.
“If any candidate furnishes false information/ declaration at the time of online selection or admission, his/her admission is liable to be cancelled at any point of time. Criminal proceedings shall be taken against such candidates for submission of false, fabricated documents/information under appropriate law,” the official notice said.

At the time of admission, candidates are required to present the following documents along with an admission fee of Rs 25,000 to confirm their seat admission.
Candidates are required to sign an agreement in the prescribed format within 15 days of admission, available on the DME website. The notice further states that college uniforms are mandatory, and dress codes will be prescribed by college authorities.
